Giveaway system with two strictly separated sub-systems: streamstats draws and community raffle

The giveaway system bundles two independent sub-systems in the same dashboard. The streamstats draws have their own draw engine based on watchtime, sub tier, tickets, and points - creators use it to draw among their top X supporters or as a cross-community draw across all participating streamers. The community raffle is fully separated from this: viewers submit prizes via the Discord forum, mods approve them, the community builds its own weekly participant list via !schleuder and wins approved community prizes via !sternenschleuder.

Sub-system 1: streamstats draws

• Dedicated draw engine based on watchtime, sub tier, tickets, and points per viewer - no mix with the community raffle prizes
• Top-supporter ranking for targeted draws among the best X supporters of a creator
• Cross-community draws across all participating streamers with a shared prize pool
• Ticket purchases via the public giveaway page or Twitch chat, with tier-based sub renewal bonuses

Live captions automatically translated into the language of your viewers

A local Windows app (CaptionBridge) listens to your stream audio and recognizes your SPOKEN language directly on your streaming PC - so it translates speech, not text and not chat. You have two translation paths: a separate worker translates server-side with your own AI key (Claude, OpenAI, DeepL, Gemini) - or CaptionBridge translates entirely locally on your PC, with no cloud key at all. You can display the captions in two ways: viewers pick their language themselves in the Twitch extension - and you can fetch the translated lower-third locally in your web browser and show it as a browser source in OBS & co, independent of Twitch.

What works

• Local Windows app CaptionBridge: recognizes speech and captions directly on your PC (system audio via WASAPI loopback, optionally with GPU acceleration)
• Server-side translation with your own provider key: Claude, OpenAI, DeepL, or Google Gemini - costs are billed directly by your provider
• Or fully local without a cloud key: built-in translation model (M2M100, small and CPU-friendly or large for GPU) - no setup, no running costs, the text is produced directly on your PC
• Alternatively your own LLM endpoint on your PC (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp) - you choose the model, the bridge delivers the finished translations
• Lower-third for OBS & co: the bridge serves the translated captions locally in your web browser (browser source or text file) - works with ALL translation paths, including Claude & co (the bridge fetches the finished translations back automatically). One target language of your choice, adjustable format (size, background, position, lines), fully independent of the Twitch extension
• One-click profiles in the app: "gaming on the side" picks fast models that leave GPU headroom for your game, "full quality" the heaviest multilingual models
• You decide which viewer languages are allowed - all of them or only selected ones; each viewer picks their language in the Twitch extension
• Several viewer languages at once; shown as a subtle overlay with size, background, and position adjustable per viewer
• Protect proper names (kept verbatim) and block words (masked in the translation)
• Prompt caching with Claude significantly lowers the cost of recurring captions

What to keep in mind (limits)

• Viewer language selection is currently Twitch only (via the extension) - the local lower-third in OBS works on any platform, with ONE fixed target language on screen
• It translates spoken language (audio) - not text: chat messages, on-screen graphics, or in-game text are not translated
• No captions without CaptionBridge running - there is no cloud microphone, recognition happens locally on your PC
• The local app is currently available for Windows only
• The cloud providers require your own AI key - StreamWizard does not provide a translation key; DeepL ignores some fine-grained options (proper-name protection, effort). Local translation needs no key but uses computing power on your PC
• No perfect translation guaranteed - live speech recognition plus AI; quality varies with audio, accent, and technical terms
